The Sociedad Benéfica Pro-Emigrantes Españoles en la República Dominicana was founded on December 14, 1982 by a group of Spanish residents in the country. For over four decades, we have provided home, medical care, food, companionship and dignity to vulnerable elderly people.
The institution is run by the Sisters of the Congregation of the Sacred Hearts, accompanied by a committed Board of Directors and the support of sponsors, donors and volunteers.
